Convenient Mobile Service
To make your adventure as seamless as possible, we operate a mobile delivery service. Specifically, we can deliver your mountain bikes directly to your accommodation in Tathra, Kalaru, or Wallagoot, allowing you to start your ride right from your front door. Please note a $50 delivery fee applies to single-day hires (free for multi-day bookings).

Easy – Depends on you! It is essential that all guests joining the experience are already proficient in riding a bicycle. This includes balance, steering, peddling, and braking. Given the physical nature of biking, it is important that participants have a reasonable level of fitness.

Meeting Time
Easy Drop-off & Pick-up! We offer a contactless delivery service. We will deliver your bike, lock it up, and send you a text message once it’s ready. You don’t need to be present for delivery or collection—simply lock the bike in the same spot when you’re finished and send us a quick message to let us know.

Health Conditions
It’s important for guests to consider any personal health conditions. People with certain medical conditions (like heart disease, respiratory issues, or joint problems) should consult their doctor before undertaking a physically demanding activity.
Terrain and Difficulty – Off-Road E-Bike Use
Our E-Bikes are cruiser-style and are not permitted for use on dedicated MTB single-tracks or technical trails.
Accessibility Services
If guests require any additional support or services to participate in this actively please let us know. We have access to adaptive bicycles and tandem bikes.
On-Trail Support
Please note that we do not offer on-trail roadside assistance or recovery services. In the event of a flat tire or mechanical issue, it is the hirer’s responsibility to manage the bike.
Bike Replacement
If you experience any issues during your hire period, please text us immediately. While we cannot collect you from the trail, we will do our best to swap your bike for a replacement as soon as possible so you can keep riding.
1-Day Hire Delivery
A $50 delivery fee applies to all 1-day hires. This will be charged to your original payment method upon confirmation.
Notice Period
We appreciate at least 48 hours’ notice for all bookings to help us coordinate logistics. If you require a same-day or next-day hire, please email jess@NavigateExpeditions.com and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Pre-booking online is highly recommended to guarantee your preferred bike type and size.
What to Bring & Wear
We recommend wearing comfortable activewear or clothing suitable for riding, and closed-toe shoes. Please avoid wearing loose or baggy pants, as they can easily get caught in the bike chain. Shorts are ideal, or leggings that fit tight all the way down to your ankle. Don’t forget to bring a water bottle, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a camera or phone!
Weather Policy
Bike hire operates in most weather conditions, including light rain. In the event of extreme or dangerous weather forecast by the Bureau of Meteorology, Navigate Expeditions may cancel hires for safety, and a full refund or reschedule will be offered.

Public Holiday Surcharge
A 10% surcharge applies to all bike hire bookings on NSW Public Holidays to help offset increased public holiday wage expenses.
Rider Safety & Regulations
All riders must wear the provided helmet securely buckled at all times while riding. Riders must follow standard NSW road road rules, ride predictably, and yield to pedestrians on shared pathways.
Damage & Security Policy
Guests are responsible for the bike and equipment for the duration of the hire period. Bikes must be locked securely using the provided lock whenever left unattended. Any damage caused by misuse or neglect may incur repair charges.
Age & Size Restrictions
We offer a range of bike sizes suitable for adults and teens. For e-bike hires, riders must meet the minimum age requirement (typically 16+ or accompanied by an adult depending on the specific model) and be confident managing a heavier bicycle.
Damage, Repair & Recovery Policy
By finalising your booking, you agree to Navigate Expeditions charging your credit card for all costs associated with the repair of our equipment that is damaged beyond general wear and tear, and/or for the recovery or replacement of equipment that is not returned by the hirer in a timely manner.
Debt Collection & Liability Terms
The hirer is fully liable for all debt recovery costs borne by Navigate Expeditions associated with the recovery or repair of our hired equipment, including administrative and legal recovery costs. Any debt overdue by 28 days or more will be officially reported to debt reporting agencies.
Late Return Fees
You agree to pay a late fee of $66 per item, per hour (or part thereof) for all equipment returned later than the agreed hire conclusion time.
