Wadbilliga National Park
Tucked within Wadbilliga National Park at the base of the Great Dividing Range, Brogo Dam offers a peaceful kayaking escape. Paddle across calm, sheltered waters with no waves, tides or tricky currents, then enter a spectacular gorge framed by towering rock walls, delicate orchids and mirror-like reflections all around you.

Fascinating Regional Storytelling
As you paddle, your guide will share stories of Brogo’s geological and human history. Discover how the gorge’s ancient rock formations were shaped over millions of years, and how the dam was built in the 1970s to supply water to the Bega Valley, revealing the forces that shaped this landscape.

Wildlife
Wildlife is everywhere: sea eagles circling overhead, cormorants drying their wings, wallabies on the drive in, and even the flash of an azure kingfisher if you’re lucky. It’s nature at its most intimate, and far away from the crowds.
